Travel and Expenses Claim for Permanent Employees Working on Temporary Sites

In order to make a successful claim, the following criteria must be satisfied:

1. You have been continuously employed to move from site to site and both you and your employer had the understanding, from the outset of the employment that you would move from site to site;
2. You are not on a fixed term contract or employed to work specifically on one site and once that work has been completed you will have to find alternative employment;
3. You are on PAYE;
4. You drive your own car to the temporary workplaces - not a company car;
5. You have not been based or expect to be based on one site for longer than 24 months.
